William Strauss and Laurenz Schmidt have published a new paper on CO2 emissions from the combustion of wood versus coal. The data suggest that the Manomet Study miscalculated the carbon debt. In fact, wood pellets release less CO2 per unit of useful energy than coal. Get the paper HERE.
